Does your business need a tool driven by math and data to aid your decision-making?
We are here to help.

Hypatia Analytics

Hypatia of Alexandria was the first woman in the ancient world to make lasting contributions to mathematics — and her spirit of inquiry still resonates with modern data science. At Hypatia Analytics, we carry that legacy into the digital age, combining mathematics, data science, and machine learning to uncover the insights hidden inside complex data.

Our team — engineers, mathematicians, and data scientists working closely, a modern-day assembly of Hypatias — has spent over a decade building bespoke solutions that turn complex data into decisions businesses can act on.

Meet the Founder

Biljana Presnall, Ph.D.

Computational linguist · 20+ years in military education & training

I'm Biljana Presnall — most people know me as Biki or BJ. My work sits where language, learning technology, and large, distributed organizations meet: how teams train together across borders and services.

I led the digital team on a U.S. Department of Defense R&D project maturing the operational integration of Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) in multinational exercises — known as MADLx — and contributed to the Annex to the NATO ADL Handbook. Today I lead the team for the U.S. Army DEVCOM Soldier Center's Project STEEL-Rx, running field-based validation of STEEL-R with exercise planners, observer/trainers, and trainees.

Most of what I write about lives in the gap between how a system is designed and how it's actually used.

That work keeps me close to the people using these systems every day. Hypatia Analytics is where I share what two decades of building, testing, and refining training technology in the field have taught me — about advanced distributed learning, exercise design, and computational linguistics.
